Wiggling, stretching, sweet little newborns - nothing is more precious. I love to create artistic images that reflect the deep emotional bond you and your baby share along with every adorable detail.

My goals are simple. When you see your images, I want you to instantly remember these intimate fleeting moments and to relive the indescribable joy you feel right now. These images are ment to be investments in future memories that will warm hearts for generations.

What to Expect

I work personally with you one-on-one to customize the session style best suited for you. I put my experience and skill as both photographer and artist to work for you to create stunning, beautifully composed and artistically edited images. I have dedicated years to perfecting my crafts, and many many hours photographing newborns. I'm excited to put that experience to work for you to create timeless images you will be thrilled to surround yourself with, and proud to share with family and friends.

HOW DO I BOOK MY SESSION?

Yay! I'm so glad you are interested in booking a session with Hannah Whaley Photography. First I recommend emailing me through the "Contact" tab to get on my calendar. Once you have paid your session fee and filled out my online contact form that secures your date.

I’VE BOOKED MY SESSION… NOW WHAT?

Once your session is confirmed you will recieve an online newborn questionaire.  There, you will answer all the questions that will help me begin crafting your session to be exactly what you want. Things like colors, what to wear and even how you decorated your new nursery (so your photos are cohesive). You will also receive a full guide on all the details like when to contact me once you've had your baby, how to prep, and about how long a newborn session takes.

DO I NEED TO BRING MY OWN PROPS?

Nope! All the photos you see on my website are all props provided by Hannah Whaley Photography. We have a whole assortment of colors, textures, blankets, buckets, hats and tie backs. If there's something particularly special that you want to bring, feel free to bring it with you and we can incorporate it into the session.

DO YOU PROVIDE HAIR AND MAKEUP FOR NEW MOMS?

Yes! I feel like one of the best times to get hair and makeup done is for a newborn session. You are exhausted and pampering is exactly what you need. Typically, while I start photographing your newborn we have a professional hair and makeup artist giving your face and hair all the love and attention it needs. That way by the time you are done, we are done with the babies individual photos and can seamlessly move right in to the parent/family portion. To see examples of hair and makeup please click HERE.

HOW SOON AFTER THE SESSION WILL I GET TO SEE MY IMAGES?

Approximately two weeks after our session date we will meet at my personal studio so you can see a beautiful slide show of the images from your session. I take my time editing each image since I know just how special it is to capture these memories. I only book a limited number of sessions a month just so I can devote my time to creating beautiful photos that you will cherish. It is during this slideshow appointment two weeks after our session date that that you will decide what you want to go ahead and purchase. I offer payment plans if needed.

IS THE FAMILY PHOTOGRAPHED AT THE SAME TIME?

Yes! All newborn sessions include family/siblings, parents and even grandparents if you want. The only sessions that don't include parents or siblings are mini newborn sessions.
