On April 14 at St Andrews Church in Sierra Vista, Arizona Jill and David tied the knot! The weather couldn’t have been more perfect, the breeze was light and gentle and you could smell spring in the air. Jill started her day getting ready with her mom, sister and bridesmaids at her parents house. She had custom robes and hangers for each of the special women in her wedding. Acacia of Acacia B Brows (Barnett Salon Suites) did her makeup with a good friend on hair. She bought her incredible wedding dress from Gigi’s Bridal in Tucson.

I’m not going to lie, I have a thing for rings. I love photographing beautiful rings and creating those memories for brides. Each and every one tells a story that all together create’s a beautiful picture of your entire wedding day. Gina and I headed over to St Andrews Church in Sierra Vista to capture the groom and men before Jill arrived. We made this part as quick and painless as possible. I knew Jill would want to remember how handsome her husband looked on one of the most important days of their life.

Jill’s sister Diana was married at St Andrews church also. So it held special significance for their family for Jill and David to be married there. The official getting ready room was downstairs but Diana and I did some searching and found this small little room with some gorgeous window light. Come to find out that was where Diana got ready with her sister and mom when it was her turn. It was so sweet to be able to replicate that for Jill.

Jill was so funny when she saw her Dad for the first time! So many giggles and so much fun!

Then came time for the ceremony. I’m not going to lie, I may have seen a few tears slide down David’s cheeks as he saw his beautiful bride for the first time on his wedding day.

And then that kiss! One of my favorite parts of the ceremony!

We finished off our bridal party portraits, the family formals and headed to the reception! Pueblo Del Sol Country Club hosted a fantastic reception. They have the most beautiful grounds and we hit it right at sunset.

 

The night ended with DJ Mike from Tucson DJ Service creating the perfect jams for the couple. Seriously look how much fun these two are! Couldn’t be happier for David & Jill!!
